Sedlescombe Golf Club star hits SIXTH hole-in-one

With the government restrictions being lifted a little, the new owners at Sedlescombe golf club have been delighted to get us back out on the course.

With all necessary safety measures in place, the green keeping team really made the most of the good weather and absence of golfers, many improvements and alterations have been and are being made. on July 1 the course will play with its new mapping layout.

The club are delighted to have welcomed Paul Nessling to the team, the local professional has settled in very quickly and is looking forward to getting back in to Competition golf, as soon as travel restrictions are lifted. He is offering lessons on the Driving range and on the course.

The Sedlescombe ladies have been playing friendly golf for the last few weeks, which has been such a delight in this glorious weather. On Wednesday Deirdre Winchester aced the 10th Par 3 , the 104 yard centre pin from the red tee.

Much to the delight of her playing partners Wendy Leigh and Lindy Montanden, the cheers were heard around the course. Unfortunately the bar is closed so the celebrations will have to wait.

It was the sixth Hole in one for Deirdre, she carried on her round scoring a very impressive 26 points on the back nine. With competitions commencing July 1it looks very exciting at Sedlescombe Golf Club for the year coming.
