Littlehampton HC finish fifth

LITTLEHAMPTON'S second successive 6-0 victory saw them leapfrog opponents Brighton & Hove 5th to finish fifth in Sussex League Division 1.

In their first season since reforming, Littlehampton finished the campaign with just one defeat in their last nine games.

On Saturday, Littlehampton took the lead after just 15 minutes when top-scorer Jon Miles scored with a reverse flick from a short corner.

Miles then made it 2-0, after beating three players, for his 29th goal of the season.

Littlehampton further dominated the second half, and Steve Jenkins got the third with a neat finish.

Simon Judd quickly added a brace, before captain Colin Warner completed the scoring.

Miles and Judd both missed chances to complete their hat-tricks.
