NEWHAVEN ARE NEXT FOR RUSTINGTON

RUSTINGTON Football Club continued their excellent cup form of the past 18 months by knocking high-flying Peacehaven out of the Division 3 Cup on Saturday.

In the semi-finals, defending champions Rustington will face Newhaven.

Peacehaven started Saturday's game the brighter and Ryan Walton and ex-Littlehampton and Wick striker Mark Price missed opportunities in the first five minutes.

However, after just 11 minutes, Rustington took the lead. Sean Duffy's strong run led to a corner being conceded, and Dave Oakes' kick eluded everyone and went in off the back post.

With central defenders Russ Tomlinson and Brett Neal keeping Peacehaven's forwards quiet, Rustington began to dominate.
