Hastings runners put heart - and sole - into virtual parks run
Hastings-based Heart & Sole Runners have been training hard during lockdown.
Three members took part in the Royal Parks virtual half marathon last Sunday, both for the personal challenge and to raise money for a cause close to their heart.
The runners took on two different routes and headed out early to ensure there were no social distancing issues.
Katie McDougall and Claire Moor headed along the seafront from Hastings to Bexhill and back and Aimee Whatford headed from Ore out towards Rye.
Katie ran to raise money for the Royal Marsden to thank them for the care that had given her dad back in 2008-09 and and Aimee clocked up a PB (2.11.15) for the half marathon distance.
