Planetbowls returns to Pavilion
Entries have come from all over England and Wales and the action starts on Saturday from 10am, with play continuing until 6pm each day.
Event organiser Warwick Davis is delighted to welcome the event back to Worthing for a second time.

Hide AdHe said: “It’s great to have this tournament back in Worthing.
“We hosted this back in May last year and it was a great success. Players are travelling long distances to be here this weekend.”
The winner of the main tournament will receive £1,250, while the winner of the plate event will get £400.
The kitchen and bar will be open throughout the tournament, with the finals taking place around 4pm on Monday.

Hide AdThere is a bounty of £50 for whoever beats the champion from the last Planetbowls event and there is also a £50 prize for the last member of Worthing Pavilion in the competition.
Spectators are welcome to attend during the weekend.
Pavilion hosted the first ever Planetbowls outdoor event this time last year and the club will host an outdoor tournament in September for the top 32 players throughout the summer.
