Stock car action at Angmering

These scaled-down versions of the full sized US stock cars are perfectly suited to the smaller UK tracks, where they deliver the same kind of tyre smoking action and full-throttle thrills and spills as their full-size counterparts.

British cars from the 1950s and 1960s will also be in action when the Classic Stock Cars race in the closing stages of their track championship. With just a few points separating the top drivers from the title, fans can expect to see the bumpers going in as the drivers attempt to remove the opposition in classic stock car style.

Modern day racers competing on the day will include the Junior Rods, allowing the stars of the future the chance to hone their racing skills, alongside the Street Stocks, Production Stocks, Hot Rods and the ever-popular Nudge and Spin Bangers in racing action and a demolition derby.

With the all-action MASCAR racers, plus classic machines from the past and a full card of supporting formulas, Angmering Raceway will deliver yet another action packed and value for money day out on Sunday September 27.

Angmering is located just off the A280, between Worthing and Angmering. The gates open at 8am, with racing commencing at 11.30am. Adult admission is 10 kids, 10-14, 5, with kids under ten free. Senior Citizens, disabled and Students (with valid student cards) can also enjoy a days racing for just 5.
