The Green Machine are one of eight teams separated by six points fighting the drop, and with just six games left every point is vital.

Player chairman Del Longley said: "If we beat Hurstpierpoint they are right back in the mix as it's all very close down there. Lingfield for example are fifth from bottom but have a very tough run in as all their remaining opponents are in the top five.

"How many points we'll need depends on how other teams do so all we can do is concentrate on our own games."

Scott Defty should be available again. The match at The Polegrove kicks-off at 2pm and is followed by a reserve game at 4.30pm.
