Victory a must for Bexhill

PROMOTION outsiders Bexhill return to Sussex Cricket League action on Saturday August 3 with a mouth-watering match at home to leaders East Grinstead.

Bexhill, who lie fourth in Division Two, will be hoping to eat into the 49 points which separate them and Stirlands who occupy one of the two promotion places. The other is filled by tomorrow's opponents who will be looking to extend a 24-point lead at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Sidley play host to mid-table Roffey needing a win to get off the bottom of the league.

Despite only recording one win all season, captain Scott Woodroffe remains defiant. "We need to get 30 points from somewhere and I think it will be on Saturday" he said.
