College's new season under the spotlight

The play will be performed at the UCTC Theatre on Friday, September 21, at 7.30pm. The Pioneers is a personal and intimate journey that incorporates story telling, visual projection, movement and song. At times moving and poignant, at others unforgiving yet inspiring, The Pioneers is a beautiful piece of theatre that has at its heart a story told primarily through its mesmerising musical performance.

The Pioneers is based on the true exploits of our ancestors and follows the lives of three individuals who for differing reasons make the journey to the other side of the world to start a new life. On the way, they encounter freedom and love, hardship and uncertainty, but most importantly the prospect of a new beginning full of possibility.
