I would like to add the Charity’s trustees thanks to all concerned in making it such a successful day.
The competitors battled really hard, especially when the wind was against them, and were well looked after by a superb team of volunteers and marshals.

Hide AdThe event was set up and run by Geoff Dixon who did a fantastic amount of work to create such a well run day.
He had help from Gill and Mike Stokes of Bexhill Runners.
Our own Emma Bourne, fundraising manager, worked with Geoff on making this such a successful fundraising event for Tree of Hope.
We are extremely grateful to Bexhill Rowing Club for allowing us to use their clubhouse, Booker & Best the main sponsors, the De La Warr Pavilion, The Alex Hall Memorial Fund for supporting the children’s races, Dean and Lee from T L Sports for setting up all the equipment and Rodney Smith for his very entertaining and supportive live commentary throughout the event.
We should add that the residents of Bexhill and visitors were also very helpful keeping the course clear and supporting the runners and the day’s activities.

Bexhill, birthplace of Tree of Hope, gave tremendous support to our Doing More – Together approach to helping those children who need medical support. Well done indeed and thank you.
